NDA Represents EKA Software Solutions and Its Shareholders in Sale to Symphony Technology Group
DEAL BRIEF
Symphony Technology Group (‘STG’), a US based private equity firm which is focused on software and software enabled services, undertook an acquisition of EKA Software Solutions (‘EKA’), a global provider of commodity management solutions with presence across Switzerland, Canada, US, UK, Australia, Singapore and India,
EKA has been engaged in the commodities trade and risk management (‘CTRM’) and supply chain solutions, consistently delivering innovation to its customers. The sale was done by acquisition of the parent entity of the EKA group structure domiciled in Singapore.
OUR ROLE
We at Nishith Desai Associates, acted as the lead counsel for EKA and its shareholders and advised EKA and its shareholders on the legal and regulatory aspects, including negotiation and closing of the transaction.
