Deal Brief: “Aditya Birla India Real Estate Vision Fund”, an offshore India focused real estate fund, with a targeted corpus of US$ 350 million and a green shoe option of upto US$ 150 million, was recently launched. The primary objective of the offshore real estate fund is to invest into equity, equity related and debt instruments of investee companies engaged in the construction and development of real estate (including but not limited to residential and commercial properties, retail malls and other real-estate development projects) in India under the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) regime.

Our Role: We, at Nishith Desai Associates, acted as the fund counsel for the Aditya Birla India Real Estate Vision Fund.
