M+R Spedag Group, Switzerland, through its group entity, recently closed the acquisition of a controlling stake in Chennai based PL Shipping & Logistics Private Limited.

M+R Spedag Group is a leading logistics and transportation services provider in Switzerland and has presence with offices in major hubs across the globe. PL Shipping & Logistics Private Limited is a comprehensive service provider with a pan India presence and is involved with ocean, air and surface transportation of small, large and heavy lift cargoes both imports and exports.

OUR ROLE

We, at Nishith Desai Associates, acted as the legal, regulatory and tax counsel to M+R Spedag Group for this transaction.
