DEAL BRIEF

Siemens Project Ventures GmbH ("Siemens") transferred its 14% stake in Bangalore International Airport Limited (valued at USD 1 billion approximately) to one of the GVK group entities namely Bangalore Airport and Infrastructure Developers Private Limited for a total consideration of INR 6.14 billion (USD 125 million approximately).

We, at Nishith Desai Associates, acted as Indian legal and tax counsel to Siemens for this transaction.
