Mitsui invests in Global Beverages & Foods Private Limited

DEAL BRIEF

Mitsui Global Investment ("MGI"), an affiliate of Mitsui & Co. Ltd., along with Goldman Sachs has committed to invest USD 50 million in Global Beverages & Foods Private Limited ("GBFPL"). GBFPL is a company engaged in the food and beverages sector, founded by Mr. A Mahendran, the former managing director of Godrej Consumer Products Limited.

OUR ROLE

We, at Nishith Desai Associates, acted as legal and tax counsel to MGI on this transaction.
