Wednesday, February 28, 2024 (04:00 PM to 05:30 PM (IST))

INTRODUCTION

Cybersecurity threats are increasingly common and rapidly evolving, posing risks to businesses' data, finances, and IT infrastructure. The key focus post attack is always on mitigation. In addition, businesses should also focus on obligations under cyber insurance policies, breach notification requirements under various laws and obligations under client/vendor agreements. Businesses also need to evaluate how to recover losses caused due to the incident – are losses covered by the insurance policy or if the attack has originated due to negligence of a vendor, can liability be pinned on the vendor? Hence, robust SOP is a must, so that various stakeholders within the organisation are activated to work seamlessly.

This webinar will provide an overview of the key issues that businesses should be ready for in the unfortunate situation of a cybersecurity attack.

The following subjects, among others, will be covered:

  • Cyber Forensics : Learnings from experts and
  • Cyber Insurance : Dos and Donts
  • Legal obligations post an incident
  • Contractual obligations pertaining to cyber incidents – Pinning of liability
