INTRODUCTION

Generative AI (GAI) is revolutionizing the way content is created, consumed, and distributed today. It has sparked discussions across the globe given its ability to generate a wide range of content (such as text, images, music, and even videos) in a matter of minutes.

However, along with its potential, GAI has also raised concerns in areas of ethics, accountability, IP, and bias, to name a few. Thus, understanding the implications of GAI is crucial to navigate its impact and for shaping responsible and beneficial interactions.

Nishith Desai Associates (NDA) is organizing a webinar to discuss “Generative AI: Legal, Ethical and Policy Implications”.

The webinar will follow a panel discussion format with an emphasis on the following subjects:

  • Introduction to GAI

  • Key use cases of GAI

  • GAI: intermediaries or publishers?

  • IP ownership and evolving jurisprudence

  • Bias, prejudice and ethics

  • Explainability and accountability
