INTRODUCTION

The Government of India has officially notified the long-awaited Four Labour Codes, consolidating and replacing 29 earlier labour laws. This marks one of the most significant reforms of employment law in the country. The new Codes on Wages, Industrial Relations, Social Security, and Occupational Safety & Health, are expected to bring a fundamental shift in how organisations manage workforce, compensation structures, benefits, compliance and industrial relations.

With multiple provisions now operational and implementation expected in phases, companies are evaluating how these reforms impact HR policies, payroll structures, trade union relations, contract staffing and overall employee management. While the new regime aims for simplification and formalization of the labour market, it also brings new obligations, broader regulatory oversight and tougher enforcement.

In this webinar, our HR and Employment Law Practice will unpack these key changes, compliance implications and organisational impacts in a practical and business-oriented manner.
