INTRODUCTION

India is a dynamic market, and is one of the world’s most attractive destinations for foreign investment. For multinational companies, how to capture the potential direct investment, identify business opportunities, manage risk exposure and to maximise long-term value is crucial, and a key driver of success.

With myriad laws and policies in India, it is undeniable that corporates have often been caught struggling to implement an effective ethics and compliance eco-system. The onus remains on companies to tackle complaints and similar reporting – both internal and external, which are placed before them, as well as to manage and mitigate the associated risks. Issues of corruption, a changing regulatory environment and the high risk of internal fraud raise serious concerns about the liability of directors.

Join us for an interactive half day event, to hear experts from Nishith Desai Associates and Control Risks on a range of topics covering operational risks and how to manage and avoid disputes.
