E-COMMERCE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
LAW
India has become an increasingly important
hub for information technology. Our practice in this arena is highly specialized
and all encompassing - right from advising clients on the provisions of
the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its applicability, to rendering
advise on data protecting and privacy, IPR protection, and even issues
relating to e-commerce. This area of practice complements our other practice
areas, and we adopt a "Start to Maturity" approach where we guide the
client on Information Technology laws right from the setting up stage
and continue to guide the client in the various expansion stages.
Our Information Technology practice area
focuses on:

- Advising on legal and regulatory issues
which are specific to the specialized industries in the information
technology segment such as internet-banking, internet-broking, telecommunications
to name a few spheres

protecting their data or their customers' data by effective use of
agreements and disclaimers, and drafting employee privacy policies
to ensure that the company is not held liable for any breach by the

agreements, service agreements, online trading agreements, user/subscriber
