INDIAREIT Offshore Fund and INDIAREIT Fund - Scheme I, real estate private equity funds with a joint corpus of USD 300 million, made an investment of USD 61 million in a joint venture with Hyderabad based Amsri Developers for the development of 9.5 acres and 260 acres of land parcels for residential and commercial purposes. Amsri Developers is a real estate developer in Hyderabad.

We, at Nishith Desai Associates, acted as legal counsel to INDIAREIT Offshore Fund and INDIAREIT Fund - Scheme I for this investment.

INDIAREIT Offshore Fund and INDIAREIT Fund - Scheme III, real estate private equity funds with a joint corpus of USD 335 million, have made an entity level investment of approximately USD 47 million in Neptune Developers Private Limited (“Neptune”). Neptune, one of the renowned real estate developers in Mumbai, is engaged in the business of real estate construction and development in India.
