Kotak Alternate Opportunities (India) Fund (“Kotak”), a leading domestic real estate fund in India has invested USD 35.1 million in Sunteck Realty and Infrastructure Limited ("Sunteck"). Sunteck is a company listed on Bombay Stock Exchange, and Kotak will hold a 10% stake, on a fully diluted basis, in Sunteck. Sunteck is engaged in the business of real estate and infrastructure in India. Sunteck proposes to utilize the investment, inter alia, towards developing residential and commercial projects in Mumbai and other key Tier-II cities in India.
